Salad in a Jar!
Another amazing picnic idea! Also great for work or school lunches. As long as your dressing doesn’t touch the lettuce, these salads will stay fresh in the fridge for 4 or 5 days!I do this for class and work all the time. My mom loves mason jars so she has bunches and they are amazing to use.

Fennel, carrot, and cucumber salad
So I didn’t feel like cooking a full meal today for lunch but I did have some leftovers. Unfortunately, there were no more veggies left and I always feel odd when I don’t have any vegetables with my meal.
My mandolin is one of my favourite kitchen tools because it allows me to create salads easily and quickly. Making your own vinaigrette is easy as well!
